Ivorian striker sees Le Havre as a stepping stone to England

Sekou Cisse has revealed that he would welcome the opportunity to move to the French Ligue 1. The Ivory Coast international is currently on the books of Dutch side Roda JC, but has drawn admiring glances from across Europe. The 23-year-old admits he hopes to one day follow in the footsteps of his countryman Didier Drogba and illuminate the Premier League, but is prepared to wait for his opportunity. For now, Le Havre are expressing a keen interest and Sekou admits a switch to France would represent a step in the right direction.

Dream

"It is great to be linked with a move to France, there are many good teams there," the African ace told skysports.com. "It would be good to learn my trade there, but it is my dream to play in the English Premier League. "There are clubs there looking at me and I believe I will get there one day. "But Le Havre is an option. Why not? They are in one of the best leagues in the world. It is early days, but you never know."
