Sevilla have completed the signing of midfielder Christian Koffi Ndri Romaric from Le Mans for a reported 8million euros (£6.3m).
The Ivory Coast international has penned a five-year contract at Sanchez Pizjuan, with a 30million euros (£23.7m) buyout clause included in the deal.
Romaric becomes Sevilla's fourth arrival of a hectic summer, following in the footsteps of Fernando Navarro, Abdoulay Konko, Lautaro Acosta and Christian Pouga.
The Andalusian club have money to spend following the sale of Mali midfielder Seydou Keita to Barcelona in May, while the proposed sale of Daniel Alves to the same club would bring another sizeable transfer fee.
Sevilla finished fifth in the Primera Liga last season, narrowly missing out on the UEFA Champions League.
As a result, coach Manolo Jimenez has used the close-season to rebuild a squad which will be hoping to be back among the title challengers next year.
