Lille midfielder Jean Makoun has completed his 'dream' move to Lyon, signing a four-year deal with the French champions.
Lyon agreed to pay a fee of 14million euros (£11million) for the Cameroon international, with a further 1million euros (£790,000) to be paid in bonuses.
Makoun left his homeland to link up with Lille in 2001 and went on to help Les Dogues qualify for the UEFA Champions League in 2005/06 and 2006/07.
The 25-year-old, who operates as a defensive midfielder, will join former team-mates Mathieu Bodmer and Kader Keita at the Stade Gerland, while Lille boss Claude Puel could take over the coaching reins from Alain Perrin this summer.
"I'm delighted to be arriving," said Makoun.
"I've been a Lyon target for a few seasons but Lille were in the Champions League twice and vetoed it. Now it's a done deal."
