Paris Saint German look to have won the race to sign Le Havre's Guillaume Hoarau.
The 23-year-old is the top scorer in Ligue 2 and has attracted interest form clubs throughout Europe, including Chelsea.
But Hoarau is now destined for Paris, although he is set to spend the rest of the season back on loan at Le Havre.
Hoarau confirmed he is on his way to the capital.
"I will confirm the new club for sure in a couple of days," he said.
"The week has been complex with all that. I made my choice and things will be sorted out in a few hours.
"Paris did what they have to do with my chairman. And my choice is to go to Paris. Today I don't want to talk in details about that, because it is not completely done. I will talk when I will sign.
"I still have things to learn and I want to help my club get back in the top flight. I have learnt everything at Le Havre."
