Jaroslav Plasil is happy to have completed a move to Osasuna from Monaco.
The Czech Republic midfielder has signed a four-year contract with Osasuna, who have stumped up 2.2million euros (£1.5million).
He was also wanted by Lens, only for Monaco to reject an offer from their Ligue 1 rivals.
Plasil had no qualms in leaving French football and is relishing the chance to play in La Liga.
"Outside France, I could only see my future in Spain and the offer from Osasuna is a big challenge for me," Plasil told CTK.
"They are a club which has been extremely interested in me. They proved it by signing me.
"The change can only help me in the future."
