St Mirren have continued their early summer clear-out by confirming the departures of Callum Ball and Isaac Osbourne.

Both were signed by former boss Tommy Craig last summer, and they followed long-serving Marc McAusland in having their contracts cancelled by "mutual consent".

Ex-Derby striker Ball scored two goals in 24 appearances, but he has not featured for the Buddies since January.

Former Aberdeen and Partick Thistle midfielder Osbourne made the last of his 18 appearances for the struggling Scottish Premiership side in February.

St Mirren go into the final five fixtures of the season 10 points adrift of Motherwell in bottom place, and favourites to drop into the Championship next season.
