St Mirren have revealed that they are appealing against the red card handed out to Yoann Arquin in Saturday's match at Ross County.
The striker had played just 38 minutes on his debut when he was ordered off by referee Brian Colvin for a challenge on his former team-mate Lewis Toshney. St Mirren went on to win the game 2-1 to leave their hosts bottom of the table.
Arquin spent one year in Dingwall before leaving the club earlier this month and joining St Mirren last week.
The case will be reviewed by a SFA appeals panel on Thursday, meaning he will be free to feature in the Premiership game against Dundee United on Wednesday.
