St Mirren begin the new Scottish Premiership season with a tough trip to Motherwell on August 9.

Stuart McCall’s side finished second in the top flight last season and will provide a stiff test first up for new St Mirren manager Tommy Craig.

The Buddies face newly-promoted Hamilton on August 13, with a trip to Rugby Park to take on rivals Kilmarnock coming up on September 13.

Champions Celtic come to St Mirren Park on September 27, with a return trip to Celtic Park scheduled for December 13.

Craig will take his team to Dens Park to face Dundee two weeks later, while Kilmarnock visit Paisley on New Year’s Day.

March 14 sees St Mirren return to Rugby Park with April’s fixtures opening with a home game with Celtic on April 4.

A trip to Motherwell comes up four days later before a home clash with Ross County completes the initial round of fixtures before the post-season-split.
