Ball considers future options

Loanee Callum Ball says he would be open to a permanent move to Notts County if he were to depart Derby County next summer.

The 21-year-old striker made his first start for the Magpies in Saturday's emphatic 4-0 win over Colchester, and he admits he would be keen on a Meadow Lane move if the Rams opted not to offer him fresh terms when his contract expires. "I've only got five or six months left at Derby, so I've got to impress here," he told the Derby Telegraph. "I'd like to stay at Derby, because I've been there for 10 or 11 years now but if it came to an end there and Notts County wanted to sign me, I'd be more than happy to sign here. "Hopefully, I can get a new contract there or if it comes to it, if Notts County want to sign me, hopefully, something could happen here."
