Stop-gap defender eager to keep out Camara
St Mirren defender David Barron insists he has no intention of surrendering his left-back spot to Mo Camara.
Barron was forced into the role at the start of the season after first-choice Camara injured his knee in pre-season.
While the 22-year-old was not overly enthusiastic about filling in, he is growing into the role and is now eager to retain the shirt.
"Left-back isn't my natural position but with each game I play I'm starting to get more used to it," explained Barron.
"I managed to get in the team at left-back because Mo was injured.
"That was unfortunate for him but fortunate for me.
"Hopefully I can make the left-back position my own."
