Motherwell manager Stuart McCall plans to take another look at Fraser Kerr before deciding whether to pursue a loan move for the Birmingham City defender.
Kerr, who has yet to make a first-team appearance for Birmingham, is currently training with Motherwell and featured as a substitute against Hamilton on Tuesday evening.
The 19-year-old centre-back is likely to stay with the SPL club for another few days, with McCall conceding money may dictate any possible deal for Kerr.
"I will have a look at big Fraser, again that will be a financial thing," said McCall.
Pleased
The Fir Park chief has strengthened his squad with the signing of Simon Ramsden on a free transfer and he is delighted with the deal for the former Bradford City captain.
McCall added: "We needed to bring him in. I'm pleased we have managed to bring one in and I would imagine it will be only one.
"I thought I had won the lottery when I got Ramsden in.
"I think it was the queue outside the ticket office the other day that managed to get us over the line.
"No, I think the board realised the people we have lost in defensive areas, that we needed to bring somebody in."
