Motherwell manager Ian Baraclough is adamant that his side will be safe from relegation as they snapped an eight-game winless streak with a valuable 2-1 victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The Fir Park outfit still prop up the Premiership despite the win as fellow strugglers St Mirren and Ross County also prevailed - against Hamilton and Dundee respectively; all three sides are locked on 21 points but Motherwell have the inferior goal difference.
When asked if his side will be safe from relegation, Baraclough said: "Without doubt, without question. The lads don't want to be where we are but we have to deal with it.
"They put in a massive shift today. It's been a difficult time but you get rewards for hard work. We won't worry about how others do, it's all about us taking care of business."
Inverness CT boss John Hughes, who was watching his side lose for the first time in 11 matches, said: "We certainly deserved to take something from the game - hitting the woodwork twice.
"But our passing was sloppy and I was disappointed that we never got our football going."
