Greg Tansey has signed a contract extension tying him to Inverness until the summer of 2017.
Tansey rejoined Caley Thistle on an 18-month deal in January 2014, a year-and-a-half after leaving for Stevenage.
The midfielder has since scored seven goals in 43 appearances and is a regular in an Inverness side sitting five points off the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Top scorer Billy McKay and captain Graeme Shinnie are among several other Inverness players out of contract at the end of the season.
Speaking after his side's win over St Mirren on Sunday, manager John Hughes said: "Hopefully most of the guys will commit their futures and we can keep winning games."
