A host of Championship clubs are eyeing moves for Inverness hot-shot Billy McKay, Sky Sports understands.
McKay is expected to be one of the most sought-after strikers in the January transfer window as a result of his goalscoring exploits for Inverness.
The Highlanders ace is the top scorer in the Scottish Premiership, netting 17 goals in 22 appearances so far this season including another two at the weekend against Aberdeen.
The 25-year-old's goalscorer record is among the best in Europe having scored a staggering 35 goals in 47 games since November 2012 for Inverness.
McKay is entering the final 18 months of his contract and a number of clubs south of the border are weighing up moves for the prolific forward in the New Year.
Inverness are reluctant to lose their star striker, but are bracing themselves for bids for McKay, who has been a revelation for the Highlands outfit since arriving on a free transfer from Northampton in 2011.
