Carl Tremarco has confirmed he snubbed a move to Chester in favour of signing a new two-year deal at Wrexham. The 22-year-old defender mulled over an offer from the Blues before pledging his future to Brian Little's side. "There were a few other clubs interested," said Tremarco. "Chester did offer me a deal, but after playing for Wrexham I just couldn't see myself going there. Rotherham also wanted me to move over to Yorkshire, but I didn't really fancy that." Boss Simon Davies, meanwhile, has bolstered his backroom staff with the arrival of Huw Griffiths and Billy Gerrard. Griffiths has been unveiled as the club's assistant manager, while Gerrard is the new first-team coach at City.
