Inverness Caledonian Thistle have signed former Rangers, Hearts and Kilmarnock striker Gary McSwegan.
McSwegan comes to the Highlands club on a deal until the end of the current Scottish Premier League season after being released by Scottish First Division side Ross County before last Thursday's transfer window closed.
Caley Thistle boss Charlie Christie was pleased to bring in some cover for his attack.
"With Dennis Wyness injured, I felt we needed a forward option and I spoke to a few people about Gary," Christie said.
"He has something to prove and is delighted at this chance.
"We'll need to work on his fitness, but his experience can be a help to us."
Caley Thistle also secured the services of midfielder Ian Black to a new two-year contract.
Black had been the subject of interest SPL rivals Dundee United, but was delighted to stay at The Tulloch Caledonian Stadium.
"I'm committing myself to the club, I like Inverness and I hope I can get further international recognition (with Scotland) by playing well here," Black said.
