Dundee United star Gary Mackay-Steven believes he will learn a lot from his first call-up to the Scotland squad.
Mackay-Steven was rewarded for his fine form this season with his maiden call-up to the national team by Gordon Strachan for the upcoming World Cup qualifying double-header against Wales and Serbia.
The skilful winger is enjoying the experience of being in the squad and he is determined to take his chance.
"The squad is full of top quality players so I am just looking to mix with them and just kind of learn as much as I can from them and the coaches as well," Mackay-Steven told Sky Sports News.
"No matter what I will improve as a player by just getting my head down and listen and work as hard as I can.
"I like expressing myself and taking players on and being positive. That's how I got in the squad and I will continue to do that."
