Dundee United winger Gary Mackay-Steven is closing on his long-awaited comeback for the club after a spell out with a knee injury.
The 22-year-old has been sidelined since the end of August after undergoing surgery on his knee but is nearing a return.
The Terrors have slipped to second bottom of the Scottish Premier League table in his absence and are without a win in five league encounters.
Assistant manager Gary Kirk is looking forward to welcoming Mackay-Steven back into the fold.
He told the Daily Record: "Gary will start running with our physio, Jeff Clarke, this week.
"He is probably still two to three weeks away from a comeback but we have missed him to be sure."
