Lacny joins Terrors on loan

The Terrors, who have first option to buy the player within the timescale, confirmed the news on their official website on Monday.

Manager Peter Houston said: "Milos is a quality young player.

"His style is different to the strikers we already have at the club and I think he will quickly become a favourite with our fans.

"He showed a desire to come over here on trial and what I witnessed convinced me that he can play a big part in our squad and gives us greater attacking options.

"He will bring pace to our forward line and increases our goal threat.

"I am absolutely delighted to have secured his services for the next 12 months."

"Once Peter decided he wanted to bring Milos to the club, it was imperative that we worked swiftly.

"Milos is exactly the kind of player we are looking to bring to Tannadice.

"He is an excellent young player who knows he can progress his career by signing for Dundee United, whilst helping us achieve our aims on the pitch.

"This signing will show our fans that we are committed to ensuring the best possible team on the pitch."

Lacny, who has been capped at Under 21 level by Slovakia on eight occasions, was part of the Sparta squad which won the Czech Liga in 2009/10 season and also played in the 2010/11 Czech Super Cup victory.

He recently spent six months on loan at SK Slovan Bratislava where he scored two Europa League goals in a 3-2 victory over FC Salzburg in December 2011, before heading over to Tannadice for a week-long trial.
