Terrors keeping fingers crossed over injured stopper

Dundee United are hopeful Sean Dillon could return from injury in time for their next Scottish Premier League encounter against Aberdeen. The defender has stepped up his recovery from a calf problem and has been putting time in with the Tangerines physio while he also attends a coaching course. The Irishman has been sidelined since the end of August and United coach Gary Kirk said his comeback would be a welcome boost for the squad. He said: "Sean is one of those who have been away doing their badges but he has been coming back to see our physio, Jeff Clarke, to work on the injury. "We are hoping he will make it for Aberdeen because he is one of our more consistent performers."
