Dundee United player-manager Craig Brewster has revealed he plans to cut down on his playing duties.
Brewster has combined the two roles since taking charge at Tannadice last January.
The 39-year-old has made only four appearances this season and he is keen to concentrate on his management duties now.
"I enjoy it more when I'm on the sidelines, so the ideal scenario from now on is either be a substitute or out of it altogether," Brewster told the Scottish Sun.
"When I'm on the park I've found I'm trying to do two jobs. I came here as player-manager but first and foremost I'm the manager.
"I have got to be honest with myself and the players.
"As things stand, there are people ahead of me in the pecking order and it's up to them to keep the jerseys now."
