Dundee United have handed a trial to Czech Republic midfielder Marcel Licka.
Licka is currently without a club after leaving Groclin earlier this summer.
Terrors boss Craig Brewster is keen to bolster his squad and is looking at all options at bringing in new faces.
Brewster was thwarted in his attempts to cast an eye over Licka after he failed to gain clearance to play in the reserves clash with Falkirk on Monday.
"Marcel has a good reputation, " said Brewster.
Meanwhile, United have tied up the deal to sign David Proctor from Inverness.
United agreed a fee with Caley Thistle last week and Proctor has completed the formalities of his switch to Tannadice.
Another Caley Thistle player to leave the club is midfielder Liam Fox after he was reunited with former manager John Robertson at Scottish First Division side Livingston.
