Full-back has been training at Easter Road

Hibernian manager Pat Fenlon has admitted the club might not be able to fund a deal for Alan Maybury. The ex-Leeds United and Reading full-back has left St Johnstone after two years at the club and featured in the second-half for Hibs in their 2-0 friendly win over East Fife on Saturday. However, with the financial uncertainty engulfing the Scottish game amid the fall-out from the collapse of Rangers, no deal is imminent to bring the 31-year-old Irishman to Easter Road permanently. "We have had Alan in training for a week," Fenlon told Hibernian TV. "He's a great professional and a very, very good player. He's probably someone we could do with around the place. "Whether we are able to do it at the moment, I'm not too sure with the way things are. So we'll just have to wait and see."
