Inverness Caledonian Thistle finished nine points clear in the bottom section of The SPL, whilst Livingston recorded the lowest ever points tally, as half of the top flight played their last games of the season.
Caley Thistle's fine form since the league split continued with a 1-0 win over Dunfermline.
Alan Morgan's goal on 53 minutes settled the tie for the visitors at East End Park, whilst defeat for Dunfermline saw them slump to 11th.
Falkirk moved up to tenth courtesy of a 1-0 win, with Daniel McBreen (74) scoring the winner against relegated Livingston who finish the season with just 18 points - the worst tally in SPL history.
In the final game for the bottom half of the table, Dundee United moved up a place with a 1-1 draw at Motherwell.
Jim Hamilton put the home side ahead on the hour mark but Collin Samuel equalised with four minutes to go to earn United a share of the spoils.
