Alex Harris says he is delighted to have agreed a new contract with Hibernian that will keep him at the Scottish Premiership club until the summer of 2017.
The Scotland Under-19 winger has already recorded 19 appearances at first team level and scored during the club's Scottish Cup semi-final win against Falkirk last season.
Harris, 19, has missed five months this season with an ankle injury but was hoping to help Hibernian climb further up the table from their current seventh position.
Harris said: "I'm delighted to have agreed a new contract - Hibs is my home and I'm really pleased that the deal has been agreed.
"My long term goals are to establish myself in the first team, build on my performances from last season and help to push the team up the league.
"The new manager has already shown a lot of faith in me which is really encouraging and I just want to kick on from here."
