But it already looks as if he could be leaving Oakwell less than 12 months into his career with the Tykes.
Skysports.com understands a number of Championship clubs are keeping close tabs on him.
It is believed Portsmouth, Burnley, Leicester and Hull City are all monitoring the situation.
