Paul Trollope has hinted that he will be looking to keep on-loan striker Paul Heffernan at Bristol Rovers. The Irishman scored his first goal for the Pirates in Monday night's 2-1 win against Charlton in what was his second appearance since his move from Doncaster. Heffernan joined the League One club on an initial one-month deal and Pirates boss Trollope could look to offer him an extended deal. "We are assessing it as it goes along. Paul's looking at us, we're looking at him and I'm sure the agent is looking at a lot of things. "He's fitted into the group well and so far, so good. "We're hoping that we can make an impression on him and he's certainly made an impression within the group already and shown his quality. We're pleased how it's going so far, in terms of the future we'll wait and see."
