Combe to snub Killie deal

English eyes on keeper

Alan Combe is unlikely to sign the new deal on offer at Kilmarnock, skysports.com understands. The keeper is out of contract at the end of the season and could leave Rugby Park on a free transfer. Killie are determined to keep Combe and have offered the 34-year-old a new deal in a bid to keep him. However, Combe is yet to agree a deal and it is believed the custodian is unlikely to put pen-to-paper on a contract as he looks to keep his options open. The news has alerted a number of clubs to Combe's availability with Hearts and Hibernian both believed to be tracking the highly-rated keeper. A number of English sides are also thought to be monitoring Combe's situation with the keeper highly-regarded south of the border after a successful spell with Braford. It remains to be seen if Killie decide to sell Combe in the January transfer window rather than risk losing him for nothing at the end of the season.
