George Burley has added Steven Fletcher to his squad ahead of Wednesday's World Cup qualifier with Iceland.
The Hibernian striker is promoted from the U21s after scoring twice in a 3-1 win over Slovenia last Thursday.
The youngster has made one previous appearance for the senior side, in the friendly against Croatia in March.
He returns to the fold as Burley continues to monitor the fitness of Rangers forward Kenny Miller and Burnley full-back Graham Alexander.
The duo both picked up knocks in the weekend defeat to Macedonia and face a race against time to prove their fitness in time for the midweek clash with Iceland.
National skipper Steven McManus is in contention after shaking off an ankle problem, but West Brom winger James Morrison is set to remain sidelined with an ankle injury of his own.
Burley admits his injured trio are causing him concern ahead of the tricky trip to Reykjavik.
He said: "We will see what Kenny is like but we have a good squad of players so we will pick from who is available.
"Graham Alexander and Kenny didn't train today (Monday) and Kenny is the biggest worry with his hamstring.
"James Morrison did train for the first time today but it is touch and go whether he will be available for Wednesday."
