Steven Fletcher has become the latest withdrawal from Scotland's squad to face Czech Republic on Friday.
The Hibernian striker has been forced to pull out of the friendly in Prague after failing to recover from a chest injury.
However, Scotland boss George Burley has received a boost after Stephen McManus was passed fit for the game.
The Celtic captain had been struggling with a groin injury, but is now likely to be skipper against the Euro 2008 qualifiers.
A statement from the SFA confirmed: "Steven Fletcher has withdrawn from the squad for the match against the Czech Republic.
"He was assessed by the Scotland medical team over the past couple of days, but has now been sent back to his club for further treatment.
"Stephen McManus has been passed fit and will be in the squad for the match on Friday."
Fletcher's absence now means six players have withdrawn from the squad, with James McFadden, Kris Boyd, Kevin Thomson, Steven Whittaker and Alan Hutton missing the game.
