Hibernian boss John Collins is determined to keep Scott Brown and Kevin Thomson at Easter Road.
The midfield duo have been linked with a possible move to Charlton when the transfer window reopens in January.
Both players are highly rated at Hibs and they are tipped for big futures in the game.
Collins has warned off any interested suitors in the pair and insists Hibs are under no pressure to cash in on the duo.
"Speculation is something we can do nothing about but Scott and Kevin will not be going anywhere," Collins told the Edinburgh Evening News.
"They are on long-term contracts. They are important players for me and the club.
"There is no need for me to sell because of the club's good financial position, so there is no point in Iain Dowie calling me.
"I do not need his money but I do need my players."
