Hibernian star Kevin Thomson has called on Mark Proctor to be handed the manager's job on a permanent basis.
Proctor is currently in caretaker charge at Easter Road following the departure of Tony Mowbray.
Proctor guided Hibs to a 4-0 win over Dunfermline on Monday and Thomson believes he is the right man to succeed Mowbray.
"Mark has all the same qualities as Tony," Thomson told the Daily Record.
"They share the same philosophies, the same approach to the game and the same hunger and ambition.
"It certainly appears to me that if he was given the chance to take over then the transition would be just about seamless and I think that's what everyone at Hibs, players and fans alike, is looking for."
