Skysports.com understand Anderlecht are closing in on Hibernian star Derek Riordan.
The Belgian giants are lining up a move for the highly-rated striker when the transfer window reopens in January.
Anderlecht are keen to bolster their squad in January and have watched Riordan in action on several occasions this season.
They cast an eye over the Scottish international in Sunday's 2-1 win over Rangers and they are now believed to have firmed up their interest after Riordan's starring role against the SPL champions.
Riordan scored one goal and set up the other in the victory at Easter Road on Sunday and his performance impressed the watching Belgian contingent.
Riordan's future at Hibs still remains uncertain after he rejected a new deal last summer.
The 22-year-old's current deal expires next October when he could leave the club for nothing and Anderlecht are hoping Hibs will do business in January for a nominal fee.
Leeds United are also believed to be keeping tabs on Riordan's situation and they could rival Anderlecht for the striker in the transfer window.
