Chris Johnston has extended his contract with SPL club Kilmarnock through to the summer of 2016.
The striker has played seven times for the first team since moving to Rugby Park in January of last year.
All of those appearances have come as a substitute.
Johnston has represented Scotland at youth level and was recently called up to its Under-19 squad.
He was due to travel to Turkey for a training camp along with Killie colleague Mark O'Hara recently but had to withdraw due to illness.
A club statement said: "Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Chris on his new contract and wish him every success during his time at the club."
