Sean O'Driscoll admits he must decide on the future of a number of Nottingham Forest trialists in the coming days.

Decisions needed on Forest trialists including Moussa and Bouzid

Sean O'Driscoll admits he must decide on the future of a number of Nottingham Forest trialists in the coming days. The new Forest boss signed Dan Harding over the weekend to add to previous signings Greg Halford, Danny Collins and Adlene Guedioura. O'Driscoll has also taken Belgian winger Frank Moussa and out-of-contract Algeria international defender Ismael Bouzid on trial with a view to permanent deals. They both featured in the Forest squad that lost 2-1 at Mansfield Town on Saturday and join five Kuwaiti and Syrian players who are already training at the club. With a Chile Under-21 international also due to arrive on trial this week, O'Driscoll realises that he is running out of time to establish a stable squad at the City Ground. "We are trying to do due diligence on the trialists we have here," the former Doncaster manager told the Nottingham Post.

Trimming

"We have to start trimming them down. We have to get to the point where, as they do in the Premier League, we are able to pick our squad of 25 and say - this is it. "Our squad is not likely to be 25, but we need to whittle it down to a position where we know what our squad is. "We had Franck on loan at Doncaster and he has been at Leicester, so we were aware of him and what he has to offer. "He is technically a very good player. He can play in a number of positions. He has a goal in him as well, as you saw on Saturday, when he had the best chances of the first half. "I have always liked Franck, he is out of contract now, so we are having a look. Ismael is the same as well. He is an Algerian international who came on Adlene's recommendation. "We have invited him along to training and we are taking a good look at him. If anything will happen with either player, it will happen this week."
