Hamill could leave Rugby Park on free transfer

Skysports.com understands Hibernian are hoping to land Kilmarnock midfielder Jamie Hamill on a free transfer. Hamill's contract at Rugby Park expires at the end of the season and as yet no new deal has been agreed. The 24-year-old could leave for nothing this summer and a number of clubs in Scotland and England are thought to have been alerted by Hamill's availability. Hamill's agent, Kevin Drinkell, has confirmed the midfielder is now weighing up his options with Hibs one of a number of clubs monitoring his situation. "Jamie is allowed to speak to clubs as he is out of contract at the end of the season," Drinkell told skysports.com. "Hibs would like the opportunity to speak to Jamie about a possible move. "There are also other clubs in Scotland and England who have expressed in Jamie. "He has had a very good season for Kilmarnock and he is a Bosman. "Kilmarnock still want to talk to him about a new deal and he will consider all our options before making a decision on Jamie's future."
