Chris Coleman has admitted Coventry City's move for Sammy Clingan might not be dead in the water after all.
The Sky Blues were set to sign the Northern Ireland international from Norwich last week only for an agent to halt the transfer.
Coleman was unhappy that, despite the clubs finalising a deal, an agent at the last minute wanted a large slice of the pie.
City's boss believes common sense has now prevailed, although he is not saying it is a certainty that Coventry will push through the deal.
"It is still bubbling," he admitted to the Coventry Telegraph. "I think one or two people have come to their senses, which I am glad about, but we have got other targets as well.
"We all know we need to improve the squad that we have got and we will do that before the window ends, I'm certain of that."
