Skonto Riga pair seek UK move
Sky Sports understands Hearts are eyeing moves for Latvian duo Renars Rode and Armands Petersons.
Centre-back Rode and midfielder Petersons are both currently at Skonto Riga and they are thought to be seeking a move to the UK.
Agent Gino Culbertson, who is mandated by the players and Skonto Riga, is talking to interested clubs about Rode and Petersons.
Skonto Riga are thought to be willing to let the pair move on and both players could be available to come on trial to interested clubs.
Petersons has been linked with a move to England in the past with Burnley credited with an interest in the player previously.
Hearts have been alerted to their availability and are keen to bring them over to Tynecastle.
A number of Championship clubs are thought to be keeping tabs on the pair as they weigh up moves for them during this month's transfer window.
