Mauricio Pinilla has called on Hearts to allow him a return to Universidad de Chile.
Hearts midfielder Mauricio Pinilla has called on his club to allow him to return to Universidad de Chile.
The Jambos are reluctant to release the Chile international, but Pinilla insists he no longer cares if he has to forfeit the next six months of his career in order to clinch a switch.
"I am 22 years old and I have been in Europe for more than three years. I am tired of moving all the time," said Pinilla.
"I want to be settled in one place and that is only possible in Santiago, even more if I can play at Universidad de Chile because that is the team where I started my career.
"At this point in my career I'm really not interested in money so I don't care if I can't play for six months."
Former Universidad de Chile striker Marcelo Salas, meanwhile, is still on the lookout for a new club.
Salas was released by the club last month and his agent claims his client has received offers from Europe and Dubai.
