Hearts have boosted their squad by taking Lithuanian pair Andrius Velicka and Kestutis Ivaskevicius on loan.
The Baltic duo have joined the Edinburgh club from Lithuanian club FBK Kaunas, with both players set to appear in Hearts' reserves on Tuesday.
Jambos assistant coach John McGlynn was pleased to have striker Velicka and winger Ivaskevicius on board before Thursday's transfer deadline.
"Both players have signed and we know a fair bit about Velicka anyway because he's been training with us a few times during recent weeks," McGlynn told the Edinburgh Evening News.
"Ivaskevicius trained yesterday and we look forward to getting both boys involved."
The news comes as Hearts youngster Andrew Driver has signed a five-year contract at Tynecastle.
The 21-year-old will remain with the Scottish Premier League side until the summer of 2011, having scored in Saturday's 4-1 home thrashing of Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
"They've said I have got a good chance and they have said that if I prove myself, they will try me out," Driver told Hearts' official website.
"I'm here for a long time, so I am looking forward to the challenge."
