Hearts chairman Roman Romanov has hit out at comments alleged to have been made by the agent of Rudi Skacel.
The midfielder's representative is believed to have suggested that he could be about to leave Tynecastle.
Romanov is annoyed by what he has heard because the player himself has not approached the club with any concerns.
"We do not understand such statements by agents in general, because Rudi has a three-year agreement with Hearts," he told the club's official website.
"Until we sit down with Rudi and both the player and the club agree about his future - which must be in both his and the club's best interests - then such statements such as those made by agents are extremely premature."
Skacel has been an integral member of the Hearts squad since switching to Scotland and a departure would severely dent their hopes of launching an assault on the League title.
