Skacel uncertain of future

Rudolf Skacel has admitted that he does not know if he will be at Hearts next season.

Hearts playmaker Rudolf Skacel has admitted that he does not know where he will play after his one-year loan from Marseille expires in the summer.

The Czech Republic international has been one of the stars of the Scottish Premier League this season, scoring 14 goals and inspiring Hearts' title challenge, but he is unable to commit his future to the club.

"The local press want me to reveal it (where he will play next season) to them, but I really don't know," he declared.

"I am under contract until the summer and then we will see. I don't know at the moment."

The 26-year-old is determined to make the most of his season with the Edinburgh club, but revealed that he would swap his prolific goalscoring form for the SPL title.

"I have never been in better shooting form, and hopefully it will last a lot longer," he enthused.

"It is nice to score goals but I would change all the goals for the title. However, if we finish second and qualify for the UEFA Champions League, it would still be a great achievement for a small club."
