Anderlecht are believed to be lining up a raid on Scotland as they look to bolster their squad.
The Belgian club's technical assistant Ant Germeys was an interested observer at Saturday's Edinburgh derby between Hibernian and Hearts.
It is the second time that an Anderlecht representative had watched Hibs in action this season.
Reports emanating from Belgium suggest Anderlecht were at Easter Road at the weekend to cast an eye over Hibs' young trio Derek Riordan, Kevin Thomson and Garry O'Connor.
Riordan's future at Hibs still remains uncertain after he rejected a new deal last summer, while Thomson and O'Connor have also attracted the interest of other clubs.
Anderlecht could also have been watching Hearts' free-scoring midfielder Rudi Skacel.
Skacel is currently on a season-long loan at Tynecastle from Marseille and his exploits this season have alerted a number of clubs to his possible availability.
Hearts are keen to turn Skacel's move into a permanent arrangement, but the player is likely to have no shortage of offers when his loan deal expires.
