Czech Republic international Rudolf Skacel is revelling in his new attacking role at Hearts - but is happy to play in defence back in the international fold.
Left winger Skacel signed for the Edinburgh club after being played out of position in defence for his previous three clubs: Slavia Prague, Marseille and Panathinaikos.
The 26-year-old has been given a free role at Tynecastle by manager Craig Burley and has repaid the faith by netting three times in three games, guiding Hearts to the top of the SPL.
Skacel's form has been rewarded with a recall to the national side and he is willing to play wherever he is asked - so long as he gets a game.
"I am glad to be in the national side again," Skacel told Idnes. "I hoped it would go well [at Hearts] but I did not expect to score in every match.
"I feel the coach believes in me. He gave me room and a free hand in the attacking play and that is what I like.
"I hope it will go on. I have started well at all my clubs but then it went wrong.
"It is no problem where I play in the international team. You can't choose positions here.
"The Hearts fans are already talking about the title, but we will see after two months where we are.
"Before I flew to Prague, the press had written that we would hold first place.
"We want to play in European cups in the next year, that means finishing in the top three."
Not everything is sweet in Scotland, and Skacel has not yet grasped the local lingo.
"When they speak with each other I have no chance to understand - even Englishmen don't understand them," he joked.
"But when the coach needs to say something, he speaks slowly so it is okay."
