Hearts are believed to be pondering a move for Lithuanian international Marius Stankevicius.

The Tynecastle outfit currently have several Lithuanians on their books and majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov is looking to bring in more of his countrymen.

Romanov is thought to have sounded Stankevicius out about a move to Edinburgh.

The 23-year-old could be looking for a new club in the summer with Brescia fighting to stave off relegation.

Should Brescia suffer relegation to Serie B it is likely that Stankevicius could move on from the Italian club.

With their Lithuanian connections at the club Hearts will be hoping they can lure Stankevicius to Tynecastle.
