St Mirren have confirmed they rejected a bid for Kenny McLean from Fleetwood Town while Adam Drury has returned to Manchester City following a three-month loan spell.

Reports claimed that Sky Bet League One side Fleetwood had made a bid of around £150,000 for midfielder McLean.

A St Mirren spokesman said: "Further to media reports at the weekend we can confirm we have rejected an offer for Kenny McLean from Fleetwood Town as the offer does not come close to the club's valuation of the player."

McLean, who has made almost 150 first-team appearances for St Mirren and has scored five goals this season, signed a two-year contract in August.

Drury scored three goals in 16 appearances for St Mirren but, like his team-mate Ellis Plummer last week, has now returned to the Ethiad stadium in Manchester.
