Aberdeen have handed a new three-year contract to midfield prospect Jordon Brown.

The 20-year-old is a product of the club's academy system, and he made his debut against Kilmarnock.

The midfielder, whose progress, has been hampered by a cruciate knee ligament injury, has committed his future to he club until 2015.

Brown confirmed the news on his Twitter account, revealing his delight.

"Delighted to have signed a new contract, hope to be part of a successful team for at least the next few years!" he Tweeted.
