Keeper agrees to extend seven-year stint at Pittodrie

Aberdeen goalkeeper Jamie Langfield has committed his future to the club by signing a new two-year deal. The 32-year-old joined the Dons from Dunfermline Athletic in 2005 and has gone on to make over 220 appearances. He only recently returned to action following his recovery from a brain seizure he suffered almost a year ago, making his comeback in last month's 2-0 win over Inverness. Langfield, whose contract was due to expire in the summer, will compete with Jason Brown for the No.1 shirt at Pittodrie next season.
