Goalkeeper Nicky Weaver has expressed his concern over the size of the Sheffield Wednesday squad.
The Owls lost 2-0 to local rivals Barnsley at Oakwell on Tuesday night, and the 32-year-old felt the match highlighted a lack of depth in the squad.
However, Weaver is confident Wednesday's starting line-up should be strong enough if they avoid injuries and suspensions.
"For the first time it was noticeable about the lack of numbers," Weaver told The Star.
"We had a couple of people sitting out for different reasons but hopefully we'll be able to add a few to the squad soon.
"The lads we've brought in are quality players. We've definitely gone for quality rather than quantity with our signings, which is good."
