Gallinagh and Brown sign two-year contracts

Cheltenham Town duo Andy Gallinagh and Scott Brown have ended doubts about their future by signing new two-year contracts. Versatile defender Gallinagh and goalkeeper Brown were both regulars in the Robins' starting line-up last season and have agreed to stay at Whaddon Road. Manager Mark Yates said: "It's great news because they've both been here a while now and they are both big parts of the club. "In Scott Brown we have one of the best goalkeepers in the division and I certainly know the value of Andy Gallinagh because he's versatile and he's proud to wear the Cheltenham Town shirt. "We need characters and we have got that with both Scott and Andy." Yates hopes Shane Duff, Michael Pook, Dave Bird and Josh Low all agree to their new deals in the next few weeks.
